Four Bears Bridge Project
New Town, ND
Fru-Con Construction Corp. built the Four Bears Bridge over Lake Sakakawea near New Town, North Dakota with a Manitowoc 2250 and American HC275 crawler cranes while working from “T” and square-shaped Series S-70 spud barges.
Several Series S-50 barge configurations were also utilized, from 30′ x 40′ work/support platforms to 30′ x 160′ transport assemblies used to carry multiple 150-foot-long pipe piles
