Pilot Program calls for Pier on the Pond

CH2M Hill, Inc. recently utilized Series S-50 Flexifloats^® for an environmental remediation pilot program at a Superfund site in New Jersey. The 60’ x 90’ platform was configured as a floating pier to support a 150-ton deck load, including a 21,000-gallon frac tank and ancillary equipment. Three 10’ x 10’ moon pools were designed into the Flexifloat^® assembly to provide water access for steel caisson test cells. Two 20-foot Loading Ramps provided access to the shoreline.
